Funding for Early Years Nursery Education

We accept children who are entitled to this funding. All 3 and 4-year-olds in England are entitled to 15 hours of free early education or childcare each week or 30 hours if eligible for 38 weeks of the year. You can start claiming your free hours the term after your child turns 3. In addition, working Parents may be eligible for 15 hours funding from September 2024 and 30 hours funding from September 2025. Some 2-year-olds in England can get 15 hours passport for 2 free early education and childcare funding if eligible. Please visit www.beststartinlife.gov.uk to see if

you are eligible. We will apply for such funding once your child is entitled to claim. You will be asked to sign a separate contract to confirm your child’s eligibility. Once a child has been enrolled, their place will be reserved for them throughout the time the parent wishes their child to attend the nursery or until they commence Primary School education.

In certain circumstances funding can be stretched over a maximum of 51 weeks instead of the usual 38 weeks in this instance parents/carers may be required to pay a top up fee.

Notice Period

Due to the long-term commitment we make when reserving a child’s place, we must ask you to make a similar commitment to us. We therefore, require a minimum on one month’s written notice, to reduce or cancel your child’s normal booking.

Increasing your booking is subject to availability & the account being up-to-date.

Late Collection

It is extremely important that you child is collected from the Nursery at the correct time. Two members of staff are required to stay with any child who has not been collected. This will incur an initial charge of charge of £5 per child with a further charge of £5 per 15 minutes or part of until the child has been collected.
